The American Heritage tartan was designed by USA Kilts to honor Americans with or without Celtic heritage. It is a private fashion tartan designed for ANYONE to wear, regardless of clan affiliation. The colors red, white and blue were chosen to represent the colors of the American flag. The color black was chosen in remembrance of the brave men and women who have died in defense of their
country.
